An Accords Amendment proposed by the Senator from Valle de Mexico was defeated in Curia yesterday. The proposed amendment would add a minimum recruitment requirement for nomination to Executor positons.

Readmission Act Discussion

Current Quaestor Sen. Marcus Cicero of Scadinavian Duchies I is conducting a poll regarding approval of his performance. Currently, the poll stands as follows:

New Ambassador Policy Released

Readmission Act Stalls

Current Quaestor Sen. Marcus Cicero of Scadinavian Duchies I is conducting a poll regarding approval of his performance. Currently, the poll stands as follows:

Foreign Policy Advisory Board Disbanded
After two and a half months of service, the Foreign Policy Advisory Board was disbanded by Quaestor Cicero of Scadinavian Duchies today, February 11th. The Quaestor is quoted as saying:

The Foreign Policy Advisory Board was a Consular initative instituted by Pronconsul Punk of Big D Baby and was first headed by former Quaestor Moldavi of former Senate Nation Greater Moldavi. Additionally, the Pronconsul created the RolePlay Advisory Board and Prefecture Advisory Board, both of which are still active and headed by Praetrix Nebuloso of Nebutopia.

NS World Assmebly Participation a "No-Go"

Membership Act Addition Stalls in Curia Informationis
A proposal for the "Membership Act of 2007" by the Senator from Valle de Mexico was defeated in the Curia Informations. The proposal would have added a "Full Faith and Confidence" process to the Senate application process. The Senator from Valle de Mexico has rescinded the proposal and has endorsed the Membership Act Amendment proposed by the Senator from The Heights (see below).

Membership Act Amendments Being Deliberated

Executor Approval Polls
After the success of Quaestor Cicero's self-initiated approval poll, The Sleepless Politico has decided to run similar approval polls of each Executor over the course of the next week and a half. Ambassador Reassignment
Quaestor Marcus Cicero of Scadinavian Duchies I has reorganized the Ambassador Corps. The Corps is now comprised of three teams of three Senators and one team of the Quaestor. Membership Act Amendment Moved to Vote in Curia Informationis
The Membership Act Amendment proposed by the Senator from The Heights, which is designed to expedite Senate applications, has been moved to vote in the Curia Informationis. If the majority of CI members vote, "aye," the amendment will be forwarded to the Senate as a whole for a vote. If not, the amendment is effectively, "dead." "TATU INC" Approved
After a deliberative period of three days (an arbitrary length), the proposal from Praetrix Nebuloso of Nebutopia to create The Territory and Topographic Uniform International Naming Commission has been approved by the Curia Rei Familiaris. The Commission is comprised of representatives from Balanvinski, Nuclear Industrial and one nation to be determined. Tribune Nominations Open
Nominations for Tribune have begun in the Voting Hall. Praetrix Nebuloso of Nebutopia nominated the Senator from Vox Augusti, and the Senator from Haor Chall has seconded that nomination. The Holy Lands of New Camedia have petitioned ECON for membership. The Alderman has begun the voting on New Camedia's membership. ECON is currently comprised of eight nations; the application requires a majority to pass. Currently, the vote stands at 6-0; New Camedia's membership has not yet been confirmed by the Alderman. However, The Sleepless Politico speculates New Camedia will replace the recently withdrawn Balanvinski as ECON's ninth member nation.
