Other than NationStates, what is your favorite game?  What is your favorite game of all time?  It can be any type of game.  A board game, a PC game, a console game, a sport, whatever.

My favorite game of all time is probably Europa Universalis II.  It is an historical grand strategy game for the computer, somewhat like a very complicated game of Risk.  The graphics are very simple, but the gameplay is complicated and rewarding.  The game spans the years 1419 to 1819, and you can play any nation in the world, although the colonial powers are general the most fun.

Has anybody played any of the games in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series?  Those were my favorite games for a long time.

Diplomacy is a great board game, as are the Axis and Allies series.  On the computer, I really liked Civilization III:Conquests.

I want to play Diplomacy, but I don't know anybody else who would be into that.  It is also pretty expensive for a board game.

Incas are good, Chineese are fun to play with. Only thing i'll complain about RoN is it didn't include the Mexicans and I had to mod the Aztecs to make Mexicans out of them.

Yeah, it is a great game, but it was expensive.  I kind of forced it upon my friends, who accepted it, as it is very fun...

Romance of the Three Kingdoms for the win!

I also like various role-playing games, such as Final Fantasy (VII, Tactics, & X, particularly. X was so Objectivist in theme that it's impossible for me to not like it Wink), The Elder Scrolls (Especially Morrowind, but Oblivion is awesome as well). One of my all-time favorites is Icewind Dale II. By today's standards, the graphics are quite simple, but the gameplay is extremely addictive and difficult. You must form a small party of up to six completely customizable adventurers, so for many battles you have to plan your strategy very carefully to avoid getting completely wiped out. Good times.

Others:
Age of Empires II (& Conquerers)
Simcity (all of them)
Shogun: Total War (Better than Medieval and Rome, in my opinion)
Stratego (Never really got into Risk much)
Dynasty Warriors 3, 4, 5.
Goldeneye 007

No way, Medieval Total War was better than Shogun, I didnt get into Rome as I did Medieval, Shogun was ok... They are making a second Medieval Total War with the Rome engine/better Rome engine, which should be awesome as that is its best period.

Goldeneye 007 on the N64 was pure class.

Age of Empires 2
Warcraft II
Descent: Freespace (1 and 2, both brilliant)
Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR 2 was good but buggy and rushed)
Diablo II
